Freight for a business, not a household
Commercial cargo shipping Pakistan is the work of moving goods that belong to a business: finished products, parts, samples, and materials. It is a different file from a house move. The invoice has to match the freight, a buyer is waiting, and the mode is a decision about the order rather than about rooms of furniture.
Business freight Pakistan can leave by air, by sea, or by road. Exporter shipping Pakistan adds the customs file on top of the transport. A domestic order does not. Tell us which one this shipment is, and name the commodity in plain language. “Goods” is not enough for a carrier or for customs.
If the same product ships every month, say that on the first enquiry. The pack method and the description can be reused. Each shipment is still checked, because a repeated mistake is still a mistake.
What a commercial booking covers
A mode that fits the order
Air, sea, or road is chosen from the size, the value, and the date the buyer or the factory needs.
Pickup from the shipper
Collection from a factory, a warehouse, or a supplier, when that address is on the quote.
Document match
The invoice and the packing list are checked against the cartons before the cargo is tendered.
Export or domestic handover
An export is handed to the airline, the line, or the border process the booking uses. A domestic load is a road job.
Consignee delivery
Delivery to the buyer's warehouse when the quote includes that leg.
Repeat-shipment notes
If you ship the same commodity often, we keep the description and the pack method so the next file starts from the last one.
Exception notes
A short shipment, a damaged carton at pickup, or a paper that does not match is raised before the cargo leaves, not after.
How a commercial shipment is handled
Tell us the order, not only the city
Commodity, carton count or weight, the buyer, and the date they need it. A purchase order number helps you match the file later.
We propose the mode
Business freight Pakistan bookings go by air when the line stops without the goods, by sea when the volume is the point, and by road when both ends are in the country.
Papers are aligned with the cargo
Trade cargo shipping fails when the invoice says 40 cartons and the dock has 38. We pause for that, because the carrier and customs will too.
Collection and tender
The truck arrives in the window you confirmed. Export cargo is tendered with the file. Domestic cargo goes to the consignee.
Proof of handover
You get the air waybill, the bill of lading, or the delivery note, depending on the mode.
Air, sea, or road for a commercial load
Exporter shipping Pakistan is not one product. The same seller may fly samples, ship a container of finished goods, and truck a domestic order in the same month. The page you want next depends on that order.
| Mode | Use it for | Avoid it when |
|---|---|---|
| Air | Samples, urgent parts, and small high-value orders. | The shipment is a full container of dense goods. |
| Sea | Volume that justifies a box or a shared container. | The buyer cannot wait for a sailing. |
| Road | Both ends are in Pakistan, or the load must reach the port. | The destination is another country and there is no road path you intend to use. |
What a commercial file needs
The operations contact and the paperwork contact are often different people. We need both, plus the cargo facts.
Commodity and HS description
A plain description customs and the carrier can read. Brand names alone are not a description.
Invoice and packing list
Values, weights, and counts that match the freight. Drafts are useful. The final set has to match what is loaded.
Pickup window
The hour the dock can load, and whether a forklift is on site. A factory gate that closes at lunch is part of the plan.
Buyer requirements
Any label, pallet size, or delivery appointment the consignee has already set. We cannot invent those at the port.
What changes a commercial freight quote
Commercial cargo shipping Pakistan is quoted per shipment. A standing rate is only offered when we have agreed one in writing.
- Mode and route. Air, sea, and road do not share a price list, and the city pair matters inside each mode.
- Weight and cube. Chargeable weight for air, container space for sea, and vehicle size for road.
- Waiting and loading. A dock that is not ready, or cargo that is not packed, adds time on the vehicle.
- Documents that are late. A missed cutoff because the invoice arrived after the cargo is a new booking, not a small edit.
- Special cargo. Batteries, liquids, odd lengths, and high-value goods change the handling.
Questions people ask first
Operations teams usually ask these before the first booking.
Get a QuoteYes, as two scopes if they are two jobs. An export uses the air or sea file. Road transportation cargo inside Pakistan is quoted as a truck movement. The same enquiry can cover both if you describe both.
Short holds can be arranged when warehouse space is part of the quote. It is not assumed. See the warehouse page if the gap is more than a night or two.
We can plan against a draft. The carrier and customs need the final invoice to match the loaded cargo. We will not tender goods against numbers we already know are wrong.
Yes, if you say so. Each consignee still needs a document set. Mixing them in one carton is how files get rejected.
No. Ask for it on the enquiry if the value justifies cover. The quote will say whether it is included.
