What door to door actually includes

Door to door cargo delivery means the booking starts at a Pakistani address and ends at an address abroad. You are not left to hire a separate truck, a forwarder, and a destination driver. International door to door shipping still uses an airline or a shipping line for the long leg. What changes is that those handovers sit inside one scope.

Door to door from Pakistan works for a commercial carton set and for household goods. The papers differ. The shape of the job does not: collect, move, deliver, and tell you when a step slips. Commercial door delivery to a warehouse uses the same chain, with a loading dock instead of a front room.

If you only need the port or the airport, say that on the enquiry. A shorter scope is a valid quote. We will not pad it into a door delivery you did not ask for.

What a door-to-door booking covers

Collection at the origin address

We pick up from the home, office, or warehouse named on the booking, subject to access for the vehicle.

The main international leg

Air or sea is chosen for the size and the date. The mode is written on the quote, not left as a surprise.

Export handover

The cargo is delivered to the airport or the port with the papers that shipment needs.

Destination delivery

After release, the goods are taken to the address abroad that you gave us.

One point of contact

You are not asked to book the airline, the truck, and the delivery agent as three separate jobs.

Optional packing

If the goods are not packed, packing or crating can be added before collection.

Status when the plan changes

If a sailing, a flight, or a customs hold moves the date, we tell you when we know.

How a door-to-door shipment runs

Two addresses and a cargo note

We need the pickup address in Pakistan, the delivery address abroad, and what is moving. A floor number and a lift matter as much as the city.

Mode and scope on the quote

The quote names air or sea, and it names whether packing, clearance support, and unpacking are included.

Collection and the export leg

The crew collects, the cargo is packed if that was booked, and it is handed to the flight or the vessel.

Arrival and the last mile

After the consignee can take delivery, the destination leg runs to the street address. A missed access window can add a day.

Handover

Goods are unloaded at the destination. Unpacking is included only when the quote listed it.

[ Choosing ]

When door-to-door is the right scope

International door to door shipping fits when you want the Pakistani address and the overseas address on the same booking. It is a poor fit when you already have an agent abroad and only need the cargo delivered to a port or an airport.

Household goods delivery and commercial door delivery use the same shape of job and different papers. A home needs an inventory. A commercial shipment needs an invoice that matches the cartons.

[ From you ]

What we need for both doors

The last mile fails more often on access and contact details than on the ship or the plane. Send these with the enquiry.

Pickup access

Floor, lift, parking, and any time the building will not allow a truck. A house and a market alley are different jobs.

Delivery access abroad

The same details at destination, plus a person who will be there. We cannot leave goods with no one to receive them.

Inventory or invoice

Household goods need a list. Commercial cargo needs an invoice and a packing list.

The mode you prefer

If you already know you want air or sea, say so. If you do not, we will recommend one from the size and the date.

What changes a door-to-door quote

Door to door cargo delivery is priced as a chain. Each extra address, floor, or handling step is visible on the quote.

  • Air or sea. The main leg is the largest difference between two otherwise similar bookings.
  • Distance from the port or airport. A delivery deep inland at either end is a longer truck leg than a release at the terminal.
  • Floors and carrying. Stairs, a failed lift, or a long carry from the truck add labour.
  • Packing and crating. Goods that are not ready to travel need materials and time before the collection truck leaves.
  • Destination charges. Terminal fees and duties abroad are not swallowed into a single number unless the quote says they are.
[ Questions ]

Questions people ask first

People ask these when they want one booking instead of several.

Get a Quote

No. It means collection and delivery are on the same booking. Duties, and some terminal fees, can still be billed to you. The quote separates what is included.

Yes, when the destination address can take a truck and someone is there to receive the goods. Unpacking is optional and has to be on the quote.

That is a shorter job. Say so, and we will quote to the terminal instead of to a street address. You do not have to buy the last mile.

You stay with this booking. We pass on the change when the airline or the line tells us. You do not have to chase each carrier yourself.

Yes. Destination delivery fails when nobody can be reached. A working number is part of the file, not a courtesy.
